ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A graduate of Centre College of Kentucky, class of 1963, Robert Wintersmith Robertson, Jr., MD comes from a long line of Centre men, starting with Judge Charles Godfrey Wintersmith, who attended the college from 1829 to 1831. The author's father, Robert Wintersmith Robertson, Sr., MD, a long-time member of Centre's Board of Trustees, and uncle, William Howard Robertson, were Centre class 1925, and another uncle, Rev. Frank Gault Robertson, was class of 1932, and a recipient of a Doctor of Divinity from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Dr. Robertson's brother, George W. Robertson, MD, and sister-in-law, Claudia, are Centre 1968, and the author's son, Rob III, graduated from Centre in 1992. Another brother, William Howard Robertson II attended Centre in 1967.
Dr. Robertson is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Louisville affiliated hospitals.
He is retired from the directorship of the emergency department at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky, and is now associated with 4Life Research in Sandy, Utah.
